Its been two weeks since a suicide bomber killed 22 dead and around 50 people injured during the Ariana Grande Concert held in Manchester. To offer support and to raise money for victims and their families more than 50,000 gathered in an event which had some of the most popular starts perform. Justin Beiber was one of them.
Bieber started off emotionally first saying, “I just want to say thank you so much for having me. You guys are so brave. What an amazing thing we are doing tonight, would you not agree? Would you agree that love always wins?”
After which he went on to speak about God and the hope God can provide in a secular concert which not many hard core Christians would dare to. He said, ““I’m not gonna let go of hope, I’m not gonna let go of love, I’m not gonna let go of God. Put your hand up if you are not gonna let go.”
He dint stop at this. He went on to say, “God is good in the midst of the darkness. God is good in the midst of evil. God is in the midst, no matter what is happening in the world, God is in the midst. And He loves you, and He’s here for you. I just want to take this moment to honor the people that were lost, or that were taken, we love you so much. To the families, we love you so much.”
He was quite emotional when he spoke. However, what surprised many is the boldness in which he spoke about his faith in God and that he acknowledged God before thousands of men and women. The Bible says, “”Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.”
Justin has been visibly trying to get rid of the celebrity lifestyle most of the pop stars are living in the last two years. He was brought up in a Christian lifestyle and he has spoken that he tries to revisit his faith.
