Christian Athlete Jaelene Hinkle has skipped womens team trip sighting ‘personal reasons’. Though she has not stated that the decision to skip the trip is due to teams decision to wear gay pride jerseys, many believe thats the reason due to her strong Christian beliefs.
The U.S Soccer stated two weeks ago that all soccer players both men and women will be wearing gay supporting t-shirts.
She has strongly shared her beliefs on Twitter mentioning, “I believe with every fiber in my body that what was written 2,000 years ago in the Bible is undoubtedly true. It’s not a fictional book. It’s not a pick and choose what you want to believe. You either believe it, or you don’t. This world may change, but Christ and His Word NEVER will.”
